* This is a Wi-Fi only version and will connect to your BlackBerry for wireless internet. You will finally not have to be stuck to a carrier which will give RIM quite a bit more freedom
* Looks like there will be something going for 4G networks… For now this version is Wi-Fi only. Use your imagination from there

Internet Explorer 9 Beta Coming in September,Microsoft has proudly announced on this fine day that September 15th will mark the official launch of the Internet Explorer 9 Beta.The beta launch announcement also comes just as the browser turns 15 and is still technically on top of the browser world, with more than 60 percent of market share. But IE faces a major challenge from Google's Chrome, which currently has less than ten percent market share, but that could grow as Google adopts the same strategy of OS/browser integration that has helped keep IE on top, buoyed by Windows. Google's Chrome OS is planned to arrive on some netbooks soon with the goal of tearing down the wall between OS and browser in a way that Microsoft has tried with little success.

Internet Explorer 9 - Internet Explorer 9 (abbreviated as IE9) is the upcoming version of the Internet Explorer web browser from Microsoft. It is currently in development, but developer previews have been released.

IE9 will have complete or nearly complete support for all CSS 3 selectors, border-radius CSS 3 property, faster JavaScript, and embedded ICC v2 or v4 color profiles support via Windows Color System. IE9 will feature hardware-accelerated graphics rendering using Direct2D, hardware accelerated text rendering using DirectWrite, hardware accelerated video rendering using Media Foundation, imaging support provided by Windows Imaging Component, and high fidelity printing powered by the XPS print pipeline.

IE9 also supports the HTML5 video and audio tags and the Web Open Font Format. Some industry experts claim that Microsoft will release IE9 as a major out-of-band version that is not tied to any particular version of Windows.

The system requirements for IE9 are Windows Vista SP2 (with Platform Update and IE8) or Windows 7; Windows XP is not supported
